Tohoku Region in Japan

This series of 4 bush trips let us get acquainted with Tohoku, one of the eight Regions in Japan:
Tohoku-01 VFR Ominato Aero (RJSO) to Odate-Noshiro (RJSR)
Tohoku-02 VFR Akita (RJSK) to Matsushima Aero (RJST)
Tohoku-03 VFR Shonai (RJSY) to Yamagata (RJSC)
Tohoku-04 VFR Fukushima-Shi Airport (RJFH) to Niigata (RJSN)
The bush trips start in the northern parts of Tohoku, then we fly crisscross to the south whilst exploring the Region.

The Tōhoku region consists of the northeastern portion of Honshu, the largest island of Japan. This traditional region has six prefectures: Akita, Aomori, Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi, and Yamagata.
Tōhoku retains a reputation as a remote, scenic region with a harsh climate. In the 20th century, tourism became a major industry in the Tōhoku region.
Tōhoku, like most of Japan, is hilly or mountainous, with the Ōu Mountains running north–south. The inland location of many of the region's lowlands has led to a concentration of much of the population there.

The main goal of the trips is sight seeing. The airplane is the Cessna Skyhawk G1000 Asobo with assistance settings set to easy (some of these can be changed). There are also icons that show the way to get to the waypoints and final destination.

Seven languages are included : English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. The translations were made with google translate and are not linguistically corrected. They are to be taken for what they are.

Flightbooks (pdf) only in English language are included separately.
