The Bushtrips coming with every World Update got worse and worse since SU5.
Not only that the routes and the descriptions got a bit boring.
The system behind it had a lot of errors introduced, not all of them are already fixed. And to be honest I have my doubts if the bushtrip and mission system will ever get back to it's initial state.
In the current state of the system, you cannot change all the assistance options!
You have to live with the ugly HUD in the chase view, e.g.
In it's current state even the old trick with changing a line the *.flt file doesn't work anymore.
So I decided to start recreating the Bushtrips.
Here's the fourth one:
New Zealand North Island
- As this is a historic flight of the DC-3, you cannot chose the aircraft!
- You have full access to the Assistance Options!
- The yourney starts with the airplane in a cold and dark state!
- You can (and maybe you need to) refuel at airports with a gas station!
- Weather is set to live!
But you can change it from the weather widget. - Languages files for english and german (no other languages, I only speak these two)!
- Flightbooks in english and german language (in the Documents folder)!

Gut gemacht! 😊 Historische Routen mit historischen Flugzeugen interessieren mich immer. Ich habe es genossen.
Nur leider hältst Du Deine Versprechen nicht ganz ein. Man kann zwar in den Optionen alles Mögliche einschalten aber das Wenigste davon funktioniert auch. Ich sehe z.B. keine Städtemarkierungen und die Flugassistenzen funktionieren allesamt nicht. Das Wetter lässt sich leider auch nicht ändern. Schön wäre es auch, wenn man bei solchen "offiziellen" Routen ATC benutzen könnte.
Dann noch ein Tipp zu Deinen Wegbeschreibungen. Das mit der Karte non LNM täuscht oftmals - bin da auch schon drauf reingefallen. Beispiel:
Ab NZWS soll man genau nach Osten fliegen, der Kurs ist aber 67° M. Danach soll man nach OSO abbiegen aber der Kurs ist 75° M. Das zieht sich durch den ganzen Trip.

Many thanks! I keep trying this activity - and have the NAC (retrofit) livery installed, but the mission always defaults to the white Asobo aircraft - with engines running on the runway <?>.
