Durint the late stage os the DC-6 development, aiming towards the civil market, Douglas painted the DC-6 with the unusual tailnumber N30006 with a "roll out livery before if it was cool".
Unfortunatelly there are only a few pictures of this livery available and they also differ quite a lot among them. I´d gladly accept more pictures of this airplane to improve it.
outstanding level of detail and an awesome looking livery!

Another piece of art!!! Thank you, very much for your work. I would like to leave a "little idea" if you allow me. What I miss about the DC-6 is the degradation of time in the liveries. We're talking about planes from 60-70 years ago, but you can hardly find any livery that portrays that age (especially on cargo).
It is obvious that an airplane painted as if it had just left the factory is beautiful. But I believe that an "old" plane would also be beautiful to see flying. Maybe some part peeled off, or painted in a different color, or dirty...
Please consider this in some of your paintings. Again, thank you to congrats on your hard work
This is not, in no way, a criticism of your work. It's just the opposite: it's a request from a fan of your liveries.
Best regards!

Thank you very much Mueller. You´re absolutelly right, I´d like to come up with some weathering/aging effect in the airplanes. I´ve made a DC-6A "La Cumbre" where I´ve tried to add a bit of stains and smudges to get the feeling right, but it´s much harder to get them dirt then clean. But I´ll try to come up with something..
