Mataró is the capital and largest town of the comarca of the Maresme, in the province of Barcelona. It is located on the south of Costa Brava, 30 kilometres north-east of Barcelona. As of 2020, it had a population of 129661 inhabitants.
Mataró dates back to Roman times when it was a village known as "Iluro". The ruins of a first-century BC Roman bath house (known locally as the Torre Llauder) were recently discovered. The coastal N-II highway follows the same path as the original Roman road, Via Augusta.
The first railway in peninsular Spain was the Mataró – Barcelona line which opened on 28 October 1848 by the Catalan businessman and Mataró native Miquel Biada. This line now forms part of the RENFE/Rodalies de Catalunya R1. Mataró is also connected with Barcelona and Girona by the C-32 autopista (freeway) and with Granollers by the C-60.
Argentona is located 3 km from Mataró in direction Granollers. As of 2020, it had a population of 11914 inhabitants. The town of Argentona boasts an important architectural legacy from the Catalan Art Nouveau period, such as the summer house of architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch himself, on the Plaça de Vendre, and Casa Garí, an old Catalan farmhouse converted into a manor house. In addition to stately homes and small palaces, a stroll through its Old Town reveals the Water Jug Museum (Museu del Càntir), a benchmark of its kind and a showcase for the pottery tradition of the town, which also boasts stunning natural surroundings, full of brooks and streams, and of which the emblematic Picant spring is a particular high point.

Hi Dravaug.
I know, sorry. I tried to optimize the coast for hours, but with my little knowledge I couldn't do it. Probably I have to watch some tutorials to solve the problem with the water.
