This is an attempt to make the landscape around Sörmland, Östergötland and Uppland a lot more realistic as the default mesh has mountains that are 100 meters high at places where no mountains really exist. In some places, especially in ferns, there are instead holes in the ground. This mod fixes those issues and also removes trees under a few power-lines.
This fix is no longer required with World Update Nordic II.
I just flew in the area using the Swedish Bush Trip, thinking to myself: "That can't be right..."
And of course it isn't.
I mean ASOBO is offering these updates for free, but they for sure could do a better job of looking at issues. Does nobody at least fly the routes of their bushtrips and notices stuff like mesh errors or lackluster vectordata for rivers and lakes? Why do enthusiasts like you have to step in and do their job?
Thank you for doing it, but man, I wish they were more thorough when they update a region and fix all those quirks.

Thanks.
I still notice minor issues here and there so I will not say that it is easy to fix everything, but agree. It would have been good if Asobo had fixed this in the Nordic update.

Thank you, this fix was needed, hope there will be more similar fixes for the whole country, Gästrikland would need one too.

I am missing local knowledge of Gästrikland so I would have a hard time to separate what should be there and what shouldn't. Perhaps I need to fly around and look at it in order to see if it is bad enough 😉
