Azores Archipelago is a set of 9 islands, located in the middle of North Atlantic Ocean, and Flores Airport (LPFL) is one of the airports, located in Flores Island (Ilha das Flores).
The 9 islands are (by area) - airport ICAO code in parentheses : São Miguel(LPPD), Pico(LPPI), Terceira(LPLA), São Jorge(LPSJ), Faial(LPHR), Flores(LPFL), Santa Maria(LPAZ), Graciosa(LPGR) and Corvo(LPCR). To give an idea of dimension, the biggest island is São Miguel (pop. 135.000) has an area of 746 Km2 and the smallest is Corvo (pop. 384) with 17 Km2. All the islands are inhabited, and as you saw above, all of them have an airport.
The biggest airport is in Terceira - Lajes Airport (LPLA) that in fact is a Civil Airport together with an American Militar Base, and it's runway is the most extensive among the airports of Portugal. Another curious fact about Azores is that the highest point of Portugal is in Pico Island.
To give an idea, a flight between Lisbon or Oporto for Lajes airport is around 2:10 (Airbus A320 as reference).
SATA Group is the Azores aviation company, with flights between islands but also for Portugal Main Land, EUA, Canadá and some other countries in Europe. On their fleet they have A321 / A320 / Bombardier Q400 and Q200 (Bombardier for flights between Azores islands).
About my LPFL airport changes, please note that doesn't reflect the real airport, are only some additions to try bring more life to it.
I have developed new sceneries for every Azores airport, excluding:
LPPI - Handcrafted by MS/ASOBO in WU8 Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Gibraltar;
LPPD / LPHR - Check the models from slipnoidz (https://flightsim.to/file/8526/lppd-small-terraforming-around-airport) and (https://flightsim.to/file/19213/low-budget-lphr-faial-azores-upgraded-default)
LPLA - Already available in Simmarket;
Then please check my other sceneries of LPSJ (São Jorge Airport), LPCR (Corvo Airport), LPGR (Graciosa Airport), LPAZ (Santa Maria Airport), all of them available here on flightsim.to:
São Jorge Airport - https://flightsim.to/file/40790/lpsj-so-jorge-airport-azores-archipelago
Corvo Airport - https://flightsim.to/file/40949/lpcr-corvo-airport-azores-archipelago
Graciosa Airport - https://flightsim.to/file/41864/lpgr-graciosa-airport-azores-archipelago
Santa Maria Airport - https://flightsim.to/file/42151/lpaz-santa-maria-airport-azores-archipelago
In general libraries used are MSFS standard libraries but I have added some Animated Human to Flores.
Then, if you want to see Animated Human on this airport, please donwload Animated Human 3D Models Library (link below). Thanks SUPERSUD by your fantastic work.

Please note that I can use different Asobo/MSFS libraries to build my own sceneries, including new libraries from World Updates. Then, if you don't have all World Updates installed on your MSFS, it's possible that you don't see all buildings and other objects from my scenery. It will depend of what objects I have used on each scenery and what World Updates you have or not.
Hope you enjoy my airports, thanks by your support.

I did not expect to see this airport at least somewhere, great addition, thanks! When I travel by A320 Phoenix from Russia on a round-the-world flight, I always fly through Funchal and through the Azores. And Flores Airport is my starting point from the Azores across the ocean to Canada, and on to the USA and South America.

Why is the Bus at the Airport extremely oversized and almost the length of the runway?

Meanwhile I took a look to the RED bus and the scale is normal (1.0). Are you speaking about the red bus outside the airport space? Or is another and I'm not understanding. Please let me know, then I can check the real issue. Thanks.
